Byron Hurt, Filmmaker Activist

Byron Hurt screened his film "Beyond Beats and Rhymes" during his visit to NCCU as part of the Lyceum Speaker series. THe visit was sponsored by The Lyceum Program, with marketing support from the HipHop Initiative and the Triangle Association of Black Journalists.


More than 400 NCCU students streamed into the B.N. Duke auditorium for this engaging project. WTVD 11 ABC's Anthony Wilson hosted the event and moderated the engaging Q&A session following the screening.
